Lignum classic box sash windows are engineered to replicate traditional sash designs, while meeting the demands of today’s security, energy efficiency and practical living. Each window features a counterbalance mechanism with pulleys and cords, smooth operation and excellent sealing to reduce draughts.
We use modern double glazing or the latest vacuum glazing technology, paired with slender glazing bars and heritage detailing to maintain period accuracy, while delivering better insulation and security. These are ideal for Georgian, Victorian or Edwardian properties, especially in conservation areas where authenticity is key.
