Doors
Any DIY superstore will sell you an exterior door for £100, maybe less, but it will almost certainly be flimsily made, veneered over a softwood or MDF core – and in a standard size. If you want something to be proud of, that will last, won't move or warp – and fit a non-standard opening – then we can make it.
On the right for example is a nice domestic front door with side screens, raised and fielded panels plus glazing in the upper panel. Designed, made and installed by Hawker Joinery.
As a contrast here is an arch-headed door under construction in our workshops. Made from one of the mahogany family it is purpose made, quite unobtainable from any DIY superstore. Solid brass door furniture completes a door to be proud of.
